About Us
|
We trace our roots back to 1990 when the directors Andrew Draper and his wife, Clair Gwilliam, moved from London to Copenhagen, Denmark, "for a change of scenery" for a couple of years. Armed with a degree in Scandinavian Studies from University College, London, and his industry standard NCTJ journalism apprenticeship, Andrew set up as a freelance journalist and translator. He mainly served the UK national newspapers and Danish companies.
He soon found his feet as a business journalist and translator, making full use of his journalistic and language skills. Early clients included Institutional Investor magazine, Nikkei Business, the Daily Mail, The Independent, The Guardian and AFX News, a financial newswire.
Two years became five and in 1995, one baby later, the company moved back to the UK and Wales, Clair's home nation. Thanks to the Internet and personal visits plus a growing network of associate journalists and translators we have grown to become a true Nordic communications specialist.
